We haven’t been seeing much of backpacks since the mid 90’s, unless of course you are on a school campus. They are however starting to creep back into the fashion seen and were even seen during fall fashion week on quite a few runways, including Chanel that sent down a few mini backpacks down the runway (seen above). Other designers like Alexander Wang and The Row (seen on many celebrities this summer) opted to keep the practical size of the traditional backpack while giving it a more stylish look. With all the things we end up carrying around now days like a phone, tablet, makeup, and everything else we need carrying around a backpack doesn’t sound like such a bad idea.
