You may remember last month I was in Arizona for about 2 weeks. I originally had planned on going so that I could go to the Mix Tape Tour concert with my sister in Phoenix, but ended up making it an extended visit.
We took the opportunity to do a little road trip to take a quick hike in the mountains, and visit Holbrook, Winslow, and flagstaff. We had planned to visit the Meteor Crater as well but due to rain we weren’t able to make that stop. If you aren’t familiar with Holbrook, Az, it is one of the towns on route 66 that the creators of the movie, “Cars”, looked to for inspiration. In the vlog, you’ll hear a little bit about the story and how they came up with some of the characters.
