The Mary Kay new summer makeup line includes everything from blush, lip color, and shadows. They have a new line out, Mary Kay at Play, which is “made for girls on the go”. So, 1 product has more than one use… like the cheek/lip tint, the shadow/liner duo, and the blush duo set. Their At Play line is definitely geared more towards a younger demographic, or someone who doesn’t want to spend too much money on makeup products.
Mary Kay was nice enough to send me their new products to try out, which was nice since I don’t think I have ever tried any of their makeup products.
I’ll start by showing you one of my favorites from the new collection- the Cheek Color Duo. There are three different shades to choose from and each blush color comes with a highlight shade to compliment it. The cool thing about this is that you can get the mini compact and store two of the blush palettes in there.
Another cheek product they have is the lip and cheek stain from the At Play line. While I find the stick a little large to use on your lips (unless you use your finger) it works nicely on the cheeks. They come in two colors, Peach Pop, and Razzleberry which I think will be pretty for fall.
Next up are these dual end liner and shadows. One end has the liner while the other end has an easy to blend shadow. I may have to do a makeup tutorial video using these so you can see how they work. Both ends are creamy and go on smoothly… Which makes it easy to blend using your finger so you can get a subtle shine of color.
The baked eye trios come in three different sets, a nude, cool, and warm collection. They are all shimmer shades except for the black shadow. The purple shadow has just a little bit of a shimmer to it but not as much as the rest of the colors.
