I’ve been on a bit of a makeup buying break and using what I have for the past few months. Now that we are in October and all the new fall 2017 makeup has arrived, I have my eye on a few items.
As always, eyeshadow palettes are on my radar. I want to go take a look at the new Huda Beauty Palette and get a better look at the shades included. I missed out on her first palette earlier this year so I’m going to have to act fast. Two other palettes I’ve been interested in purchasing are the Viseart Theory Palette and the Natasha Denona Palette 5. I swatched them at Sephora a few weeks ago and just loved the colors and the color payoff. The glittery shades are also great for fall and the holiday season.
As you know, October is breast cancer awareness month. Each year, brands put out special edition products with proceeds from the purchases to benefit research. Two products I recommend are the Bobbi Brown Blush in Peony, and the It Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Blush. This Bobbi Brown blush is one of my favorites and I used to wear it regularly. The blush comes with a ribbon embossed on it and a mini blush brush. With every purchase, $11 will be donated.
It Cosmetics has two items benefiting the cause. A cute, heart shaped foundation brush and a pretty pink blush. I have the brush already and if you are familiar with their brushes then you know this one is just as soft. I’m eager to try the blush. I love their Bye Bye Pores Powder and I assume this is just as good!
