After arriving in New York Saturday afternoon, I attended the Joanna Mastroianni show on Sunday for one of my first shows at Fashion Week. The collection was definitely edgy with fur, leather, and metallic making an appearance on almost every piece. Edgy accessories, like heavily beaded necklines and arm cuffs, paired perfectly with the shiny collection of dresses. Most of the colors consisted of black, gunmetal, and bronze, but there were occasional pops of pink, purple, and red as seen on the final dress. As usual, Mastroiannis dog joining the models, and her her muse, Iris Apfel, sat front row.
