One trend for fall that is straight off the runway- is western wear. We saw it at the Chanel Metiers d’Art show in Dallas last October, but we also saw plenty of wild west inspired looks during the fall 2014 runway shows. Designer brands like Saint Laurent, Alexander Wang, and Tracy Reese seemed to have all gone back in time to the wild west for a little inspiration.
If you are looking to jump in on this trend, just look for fringe details, suede leather, ponchos and capes, hats, or native american geometric prints. They key on how to get this look right? Don’t go overboard! Keep it down to about 2 pieces (like a scarf and bag, or boots and a print), otherwise you will go from trendy to costume-y.
