Last week was the start of the baseball season! I, of course, made my way out to Minute Maid Park for Astros opening day which after 6 years has become a tradition. We got some beautiful weather and were able to enjoy the game with the roof open and check out the pre-game festivities.
We flew the drone up to get a shot of the field but we couldn’t get too close due to a no fly zone courtesy of the Jail. However, we still managed to get a good view from above. We were also able to fly the drone around Discovery Green and take a peek at the new, Texas shaped Marriott pool. Discovery Green is just a couple blocks from the stadium, as is the Marriott. Here you’ll find areas to lay out at, a skating rink, canoes, and much more.
