I had never tried any makeup setting sprays before, so when I was taking a look at Kat Von D makeup at Sephora a few weeks back, I decided to give her Lock ‘n’ Load setting spray a try. I was a bit skeptical at first but had heard a few things about setting sprays before and thought I would give it a shot. I’ve been using it regularly for a few weeks now and I can say that I am very happy to have found this product!
Without a doubt, the Kat Von D Lock ‘n’ Load setting spray has helped my makeup stay on longer. I noticed right away that my makeup lasted a lot longer when just going about my regular daily activities, but it wasn’t until I spent the day traveling that this product really impressed me! Normally when I travel, even if it’s just a 3 hour flight, I get off the plane and have to retouch my makeup. There’s just something about the airport and airplanes that strips my makeup right off. When I traveled with the Lock ‘n’ Load setting spray applied on my face, my makeup stayed on the entire day of traveling. It was also the same case when I attended a football game, and when I spent the day out at the race track during a humid weekend in Austin!
Needless to say this product has become a staple in my everyday makeup. By the way… the spray has a refreshing melon scent to it, and is not sticky at all.
