Velvet is always a popular fabric during the winter, and holiday season. This year however, velvet for fall is a big trend. You can find just about anything in this rich fabric, from dresses, tops, and shoes without feeling like you are headed to a holiday party.

Velvet shoes are a good way to incorporate this trend into your wardrobe. There are so many cute ones out now that it’s hard to pick just one style. I love these Aquazzura pumps and these Kate Spade flats but Velvet boots will be especially popular as well!

Another velvet piece I’m really liking is this bomber jacket. I’d pair it with a pair of skinny jeans and these Vince slip on sneakers for a casual but put together day time look.
